Fun New Games

Tyler is starting to play little games with mommy and daddy. He imitates alot more and mimicks our actions ( that sounds like the same thing doesn't it). Anyway. So Karl has been teaching him how to do touchdown, which of course is two arms up in the air and Tyler does it with big smiles. Now Karl is trying to get Tyler to give high fives. He hasn't caught on yet and so daddy is content with touchdown. Tonight while we were shopping at Albertsons, Tyler and I were playing peek a boo. Only he would just cover his ears and then put his hands down and laugh out loud. I tried to get him to cover his eyes on his own but he still would only cover his ears. I am so loving this learning stuff.
PS Tyler crashed out in the car an hour after too much pumpkin pie shake. Do you have a cold? Yes, then you can have a drink.

Tyler is getting so big, he is standing up on his own and trying to let go without falling.He wants to be the center of attention all the time.

The TiVo controller is one of his favorite toys, when mommy and daddy forget to put it away.

I can't believe my little man used to be so small. I miss how tiny he was.

I have definitely been more emotional on this month mark than the past few months. I think its because he is that much closer to a year and he will be transitioning out of the infant room and into the waddler room, for 1-2 year olds, over the next month. Its definitely making me baby crazy again. Somebody stop me!!!!

Random thoughts

I promised some pictures to update Tylers blog so people far and wide could see how big he is getting. He is almost walking and he is getting very brave. Today Karl was taking things from Tyler that he was trying to put in his mouth. Tyler crawled a few feet away and then plopped himself down on the floor and screamed.

Tyler also is beginning to hate the sound of the vacuum and the other day I was getting the scale out to weigh myself and it screeched across the floor and Tyler wailed, he hated that sound and I had to get Karl to come get him because he wouldn't leave. Now when he comes in the bathroom and I get the scale out he cries no matter what. I guess thats what we all feel when we see the scale.

This is the most recent picture of the Jules with the Big Boy and Poppi. There are so many times when I think that my Dad will live forever. I see these pictures when he is with the babies and I am so glad that they love their Poppi.
I am happy that Tyler is growing up so close to all of his cousins.

Labor Day Weekend 2008

My nieces did a talent show and Tyler was just relaxing through it all.
