FIVE months old

Five months old!!! I can't believe it . This is the best picture I have taken of my little man in awhile. I love capturing his smile. Its very rare because he gets freaked out from the lights on the camera.
Tyler is babbling all the time and squawking at people to get their attention. He doesn't like being on his belly but he is trying to roll from his back to his belly without knowing it.
His hair is regrettably turning blonde. There are still strands and patches of red but its definitely getting lighter.
He is also growing out of his 3-6 month clothes already its mostly in his legs, so we are having fun goin' shoppin'!!!!!!

I miss my Itty Bitty Baby

I miss my little man being itty bitty especially right now. He is getting so big as you can see in these two pictures and this other one is when he was only a day old. He is smiling and playing with toys and HUGE. He doesn't like rolling over but he is starting to tolerate being on his belly.

First rice cereal feeding

Look at this face! We gave him rice cereal for the first time last night and he was crazy. He acted like he was going to spit it all out and then he would gobble it down. I think mommy and daddy had more fun than Tyler did.
IF only we had a camcorder recording it all because as soon as we thought he was done he threw it all up. Let me tell you why this didn't really shock us very much.
Last friday Tyler had his four month appointment and he got his shots. One of the reactions to one of the vaccinations is diarrhea, so last weekend thats what we dealt with. Well throughout this week he still was not feeling very well and on Wednesday night Karl noticed white bumps on his gums. Definitely not teething, but my work the next day got nervous because they thought it was hand foot and mouth disease. I call the dr office and the first time they said it was harmless then they called back and said it was not harmless and to bring him in if the bumps spread, well they did. I called and got an appointment for Friday morning. On my way home on Thursday the nurse called back again and said that in fact they were harmless but I could still bring him in if I wanted to. Well in order to make my co-workers feel at ease I said I would still bring him in. I went in with little man and got a note saying that it was not contagious and off to work I went. Before we left for his appointment Tyler had a watery bowel movement (BM) and I warned my work that I might have to take the day off. I went into work and Tyler had another bad BM and he stopped eating. So we went home and its more of the same. The dr said to try to give him some rice cereal, because it could help with the BM's. Sorry if this is too much for y'all but I knew the momma's in the world would understand.
